Chalk & Odor Control System

System Overview:

By generating a magnetic field in the contaminated area, the chalk particles attract together making them heavier so they fall to the floor for vacuuming. This technology is critical since the transportation system for germs is dust in the air and dust helps retain the odors and bacteria you, your staff and clientele breathe. These systems effectively reduce mold, mildew, bacteria, and locker room smells. They can also be used to deodorize climbing shoes in rock climbing facilities. Simply put shoes in front of the system for about 3-5 minutes and all the odors will be removed leaving clients with clean shoes and a healthier environment for everyone.

Installation:

Place the system as high as possible to insure complete purification. If raised placement is not available, place system as high as possible and elevate front of unit so fan blows toward ceiling. Chalk particles typically will rise and the system when elevated can reduce pollutants more effectively. A ceiling fan can also aid in the distribution of cleansing properties. The system is most effective when placed in a position allowing ions and ozone to be mixed evenly and thoroughly with the gym air.

Placement: [in order of preference are]:

Nearest the source of the worst pollution – within 60 feet of the chalk buckets in gymnastics facilities.

Near a cold-air return to thoroughly circulate clean air throughout the area.

In the area most heavily used to achieve maximum benefit.

Note: For maximum control, the unit should be placed where easy access to the controls is possible. The rear of the unit should always have at least one inch of open area to allow unrestricted air flow. Be sure power cord is not accessible to small children to prevent injury.
